I am a college freshman. AT 61! I know it sounds crazy, but my life took so many turns that college was just not an option. Until now. I am an administrative assistant, who is also responsible for creating menus for customers. I do not have the title of menu specialist, even though it is a legitimate job title. I have been up against predetermined predjudice regarding my design work\u2026all because I do not have the degree to back up the work. At least that is my belief\u2026it is said when suggesting that a menu be created or re-worked the general consensus is to \u201cgo to a REAL graphic artist\u201d. Well knowing that they feel this way could have tore me down into a neurotic mess\u2026but instead I made the decision to back my work with the degree! I will keep you informed on the progression of this undertaking\u2026and all the comedy I am sure will ensue from it as well\u2026.cause let\u2019s face it, what is life without comedic relief!<\/p>\n
